The River Roding – Janet Seward. Thu 21st September 2023 at 7.30pm

The Roding rises in north Essex, just outside the perimeter of Stansted Airport and ends its journey in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham. The river hasn’t played a part in spectacular national events but everyday life over many centuries can be glimpsed along its banks from the establishment of Saxon settlements to the erection of World War II defence systems.
