‘Baby Farming’ online talk with Mark Carroll. Wed 16 June at 7.45pm

On Wednesday 16th June at 7.45 pm Mark Carroll will give, through ‘Zoom’, a talk about ‘Baby Farming’.  Baby farmers were Victorian foster parents, the more unscrupulous of whom pocketed the fee and then murdered their young charges. One positive outcome of this brutal practice was Parliamentary legislation that helped improve standards of child protection in the 20th century.

There is no charge for non-members who wish to join these Zoom talks, but they will need to provide an email address to receive the necessary link from david_boote@yahoo.com
